Horoscope tells me…

So, I’m a firm believer that you should totally believe your horoscope especially if it’s telling you to take an flippin’ chill pill and soak in the fun!

If you haven’t yet done the things you daydreamed about doing this summer, then you still have a few weeks left. put aside your chores and other obligations and make a plan to do at least some of the things you wanted to do. Your work ethic is obvious and you are admired for your determination and your reliability. But when you go too long without indulging your carefree desires once in a while, you will dull your senses and make your life stagnant. make fun a priority.

I never read those things why on earth I read it today, is beyond me but I’m grateful because it reminded me I need fun in my life. OH, the busy busy crazy person I’ve been.

SO, I can only say I’ve listened to many many tunes except here I am with no playlist because I’ve been scrambling on life and worrying about the just nutty absurd things that come to smack us in the face. Just know things are awesome and life is dandy and music is awesome and on some days it keeps us with a great deal of hope alive.

I’m kinda lame. I’m only good for music playlists. BOO! I promise sometime in the future I’ll make some art posts. I guess I just don’t know where I’m at in terms of my art. and I don’t think I mentioned but I’m learning how to play the ukulele! AND oh, my goodness this little thing has brought so much joy to my face that I’ve kinda been consumed by my little green ukulele. Maybe, I’ll post a video of me playing?

Music, it helps us get through times when we just hate life. I hate those moments where I feel like the world is caving in on me, and I’m being slammed with a bunch of negativity. I don’t even want to entertain the darkness. I jump into my ipod and make lists of songs to just get me out of my funk and reason with my brain and bring me back. Try it out sometime instead of letting people rule your day.

And if your feeling extra awesome, dance around your room to your mix.
My favorite song to dance around to has been Taio Cruz – dynamite & the remix of Kid Cudi I put on my playlist this week.

Headphones.

To me they are essential being an artist, getting lost in music as you create your visions. I would utterly recommend a pair of bluetooth headphones. I bought them on a whim, and what can I say I’m in love. I feel so free.

So, I entered another contest on a whim. I love my whims. I’ve got a knack for them. It’s on Deviantart for Sony Take Your Best Panoramic Shot Contest. I’ve become sort of obsessed with leds lights and light painting.

I’ve also started writing the beginnings of my next project along with costumes I want to create! <3 <3 <3 Future pictures totally promised!

Update time! the website is back up and slowly content is filling in all the missing gaps, and finding it’s rightful place. (new design, structure)

Added a few more sections under artwork. SO, enjoy!
side note / tangent: I’m starting to draw a lot more and it feels pretty freakin’ awesome. And the satisfaction of getting to hang another lovely drawing on my wall?… thrills me and fills me with excitement.

so, most of my time is consumed with creativity that it’s really hard to keep up with the site, or uploading my flickr. That really I feel defeated sometimes…

reason: I take so many pictures and sometimes multiple shots and on the right occasion I’ve gotten consumed by these pieces and taken to another world or plane of existence and my pictures never quite make it online.(I get lost in another idea or drawing) It’s pretty silly but how can you ignore something that makes you happy?

So, here’s to trying my hardest in catching up with photos & displaying my artwork. I have a bunch of video pieces I’d love to show just because they come from the heart regardless of how cheesy they may be.

& on a random note, Even though I know it’s not sunday, I’d love to share that I’m totally in love with the streets – where my heart has been. Cannot wait to purchase this album!
